Our commitments
Responsible Social Play
Social Evergreen exists to be enjoyable. This page explains what the platform is, what it is deliberately not, the tools we build for stepping back, and where Australians can find free, confidential support.
1. Entertainment only
Social Evergreen is a free social casino in the social-gaming sense of that phrase. It is an entertainment product built around one game, Evergreen Bloom, and it is played entirely with virtual coins.
There is no real-money gambling anywhere in the Service. We do not accept deposits, we do not process withdrawals, there is nothing to purchase, no betting or wagering takes place, and no cash prize or prize of monetary value is ever awarded. We hold no payment method for you because there is no payment to make. Nothing is staked and nothing of value can be won, so the Service is a social game rather than a gambling product regulated under Australian gaming law.
2. Virtual coins have no monetary value
Virtual coins are a pacing mechanic. They are granted free, refill free, and exist only inside the Service. They cannot be bought, sold, redeemed, cashed out, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or anything else of value — not now and not in the future. The same is true of badges, canopy themes, profile effects and every other reward in the game.
Because nothing in the Service carries monetary value, nothing here can be won or lost in any financial sense.
3. This is not practice for gambling
Results in Evergreen Bloom are generated for entertainment and are balanced for enjoyment, not to model any real-money product. Success in the Service does not indicate any likelihood of success in gambling or in any activity involving real money. We ask you not to treat it as training, preparation or a proxy for anything of the sort.
4. Adults only
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over living in Australia. We do not knowingly permit accounts held by minors, and any account we believe belongs to someone under 18 will be closed and its data deleted. If you share a device, please use a separate browser profile or sign out when you are finished.
5. Keeping play healthy
Social gaming is at its best in short, deliberate sessions. Some habits that help:
- Decide how long you want to play before you start, not while you are playing.
- Take a break whenever a session stops feeling like a break from something else.
- Play because you want to, not because a streak or a meter is nearly full.
- Keep the Service in its place: it is one evening's entertainment, not a routine obligation.
- If you find yourself playing to avoid something, step away and come back another day.
6. Tools we provide
- Break reminders — a gentle, dismissible prompt after twenty minutes of uninterrupted play. It is on by default whenever you open the game.
- Optional play limits — set a 15, 30 or 60 minute daily window from My Grove. The limit uses Australian Eastern time. Removing a limit takes effect the following day, never immediately.
- Quiet mode — a single switch on My Grove that hides the social layer, including grove illustrations and the milestone feed.
- Account deletion — a single confirmation on My Grove, no retention offers. You can also email support@socialevergreen.com from your registered address.
Guests can use break reminders, quiet mode and play limits in this browser. Signed-in players have the same controls saved to the account.
7. What we will not build
We commit to keeping the following out of Social Evergreen: purchasable currency, loot boxes sold for money, countdown pressure on rewards, loss-framed messaging designed to prompt "one more" rounds, notifications that manufacture urgency, and leaderboards that reward volume of play over enjoyment of it.
8. Support in Australia
Although Social Evergreen involves no gambling, social gaming can sometimes prompt reflection about gambling habits elsewhere. If that is true for you, free and confidential help is available across Australia:
- Gambling Help Online — 1800 858 858, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in Australia; also online chat and email counselling at gamblinghelponline.org.au.
- Lifeline — 13 11 14, 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention.
- Beyond Blue — 1300 22 4636, for anxiety, depression and related support.
- BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, at betstop.gov.au, if you want to exclude yourself from licensed Australian online wagering services. It does not cover social games such as this one, because they involve no wagering.
Your GP or a local health service can also point you to support. If you would like us to close your Social Evergreen account as part of stepping back, email support@socialevergreen.com and we will do it without follow-up.
9. Talk to us
Anything on this page can be discussed with our team directly at support@socialevergreen.com. If something in the product feels like it pushes rather than invites, we would genuinely like to hear about it — that is a design bug and we will treat it as one.
